Putin Always Did Remind Me of Jesus

While speaking to the Putin Jugend at Lake Seliger, Vova talked about Navalny.

First, he expressed surprise at the sentence meted out to the opposition figure.  Claude Rains couldn’t have done it better.

File this in the “fucking with Navalny’s head” category.

Second, he established ground rules for criticizing him and the Russian government: you must be perfect.

I do not exaggerate.  Not in this, not ever!:

At the same time, Putin stressed that “those who fight evil must themselves be without flaws” and added that the opposition must learn to act within the framework of the law.

Putin always did remind me of Jesus: “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone at her.” (John 8:7).

And always remember: in Putin’s Purgatory, “the framework of the law” is whatever Putin decrees, at the moment.

  1. See for his next act, something with loaves of bread and a lake – he already took care of the fish, as per a prior comment.
