Pricing and other “primitive” and “unsophisticated” ideas will never fly with our governing and self-described intellectual betters. It flies in the face of their chief joy in life – bossing other people around with their virtue. Ultimately this involves force – state power.
As we are talking about applying sovereign power to any problem, my solution is to look at the classics – those works which contain the time tested the wisdom of the ages – that address these issues directly. More specifically the “Kentucky Fried Movie”, where oil was reclaimed from combs collected in Italian neighborhoods and gas from a chain of chili dog stands. Both programs would cost less, be more effective and less damaging to the economy than anything the Eviros have come up with yet.
