It’s Not Bizarre at All: It’s Putin’s FU to Obama

To the befuddlement of many, including the Moscow Times which called it “bizarre”, Putin drew a picture of a cat’s ass on a white board on a visit to a classroom in the Kurgan region.

It’s not bizarre at all, if you understand Putin.  Remember Obama’s remark about Putin behaving like a “bored schoolboy”?  Well, what do bored schoolboys do?  They doodle.  They doodle crude things.

This is Putin’s way of giving the finger to Obama.  “Yeah.  I’m a bored schoolboy.  So what?  What are you, punk?”

Isn’t this obvious?  Isn’t it quite consistent with Putin’s crazed, egomaniacal, confrontational personality?

Oh.  St. Petersburg will be loads of fun.  Just loads.

  1. If Putin is a bored school boy, what sort of school boy is Obama? He refuses to produce a budget or legislation- asking congress to make the sausage. For example, he leads from behind on Libya, and when forced into a leadership role on Syria (as Cameron crumbled), he ducked behind congress. He is terribly afraid of being in the limelight, and his ideas being tested. Defer Obamacare until out of office. defer defer defer.

Obama is clearly not he bored school boy in the back row, nor is he the know-it-all in the front row. Obama is brown-noser school boy, always getting privileged access to the instructor- and high grades. He is never wrong, cause he never he never answers questions directly in class, and never fails, because he is allowed to makeup his answers after the exam.

  2. Unfortunately he has been allowed to make up his answers by us, and has been doing for so long that he believes he is ALWAYS correct: who has disagreed with him that he hasn’t overcome?

The major problem with being a brown nose or as I like to call them an NFIR (nose firmly in rectum), is that you lose the most important sense after a while: the sense of smell.

  3. Have you ever used one of these electronic whiteboards? They have a mind of their own. He was probably drawing a picture of Stalin and it came out looking like a cat’s ass.

  4. @aaa Yes, I have. I have one in my office and use it to teach my PhD seminar in derivatives. Sometimes the stochastic calculus comes off looking like a cat’s ass, but I doubt it has anything to do with the whiteboard.

  6. As I understand it, from somebody who was there, one of the kids at the back held up a sheaf of paper which contained the printouts from Sublime Oblivion’s blog and hollered: “Mr Putin, please can you identify the source of this wisdom?”

  7. @Tim. LOL. I hear he meant to draw a rat’s ass when he heard the request but didn’t want to scare the children.

  9. Isn’t it possible that the cat’s ass was a metaphor, showing the source (and results) of his policies?

Either that or, given that enough rats will eat cats,he was listing for the illiterate the species that is most endangered, at least near the Kremlin.

  10. Craig,

I am not a native English speaker, but aren’t you confusing the terms “cat’s view from behind” and “cat’s ass”?

And, BTW, don’t you think that Kerry is lying, almost like Powell lied in 2003:

SEN. JOHNSON: What do we know about the opposition? It seems like initially, the opposition was maybe more Western-leaning, more moderate, more democratic, and as time has gone by, it’s degraded, become more infiltrated by al-Qaida. Is that basically true?

SEC. KERRY: No, It’s basically incorrect. The opposition has increasingly become more defined by its moderation
