SWP Was Back in Town
At the Chicago Fed’s Financial Market Working Group meeting Tuesday afternoon–which included a very interesting talk about derivative collateralization by Mike Clark of UBS and ISDA.
No grass growing under my feet, I’m now in Lisbon for a commodities conference and some vacation, then off to London for some additional travel and another conference.
Lisbon? Drop Tim Worstall a line. Portugal is his stomping ground.

Aye, if you’re coming south, to the Algarve, do drop me a line. Great little restaurant 6 km away doing squid and prawn kebabs (they, umm, do do other things as well).

Hey, Tim–thanks for the heads up. Spending a couple of days in Troia, then a day or two just figuring out where to go. Dunno if we’ll make it that far south. I’ll give you a shout if it looks like we’ll head that way.
Troia, lovely place. Yes, you’re a couple of hours fast driving away. Worth a day in Lisbon maybe. If you’ve a car, the ferry across to Setubal and then over the Serra di Arrabida to Sesimbra is a nice day out. Locals like to compare it to the Amalfi Coast, which it ain’t but nice still. Expect not to see you then but enjoy!
