Don’t Believe Me: Believe the Hand Up the @AOC Sockpuppet

Back in March, I opined that the Green New Deal was a Trojan Horse for a grandiose plan to remake the economy on socialist/communist lines:

But whenever Bordoff asked a question about energy, or climate policy, Gunn-Wright couldn’t even feign interest. Her responses were in the vein of “whatever”, and then she launched into impassioned monologues about what really interested her–a laundry list of progressive dreams from health care to child care to labor policy.

What’s clear from Gunn-Wright’s performance is that “climate change” is merely a Trojan Horse for a hard-core leftist agenda. The plan is to use climate alarmism to stampede voters into electing hard-left politicians who, once ensconced in power, will implement what good (I use that term ironically) socialists have been drooling to implement for decades–since before the original New Deal.

But don’t take my word for it! Heed the hand up the AOC sockpuppet, Saikat Chakrabarti:

“The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all,” Chakrabarti said, according to the Post. “Do you guys think of it as a climate thing? Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.”

Pretty much what I said.

Chakrabarti, by the way, is known for wearing t-shirts bearing the image of one Subhas Chandra Bose. A charmer, he was. Escaping from India, he traveled to Germany, where he raised a force of Indian POWs to fight for the Nazis, only to be disappointed when his new buddy Hitler invaded his old buddy Stalin’s USSR.

He then took a U-boat (U-180) (you can’t make up this stuff!) to Japan, and then spearheaded the recruiting of the Indian National Army that fought alongside the Japanese in Burma.

As the war ground down, 12 days after Hiroshima, Bose was tragically (well, not really) killed in the crash of a Japanese plane on Formosa.

Such is the role model of AOC’s ventriloquist. In his mind, British colonialism was so bad that it made acceptable and defensible canoodling with three of the four greatest mass murdering regimes of the 20th century (Bose died, alas, before he could have collected the set and conspired with Mao). Just think what he would be willing to do to rid the world of evil capitalist regimes, like the US.

  1. This seems to be a trend. Among the radical left, ignorance of history is so complete, and anti-americanism/colonialism/westernism so profound, that Nazi collaborators are celebrated. Neo-Quislings!

  2. With respect, Mr Rad I don’t think it’s a lack of knowledge of history. Having once been a true liberal elite, I can say that the radical left is so enamored of their own superiority that they just KNOW that their socialism will finally, surely, and without question – work this time. The elitism is so strong, they have it all down to a socialist science. Strings will be pulled, puppets will dance to the tune, and everyone will live in utopian harmony.

You see, elites look at a chaotic system, like capitalism market and they absolutely abhor the disorder of buying, selling, open exchange of goods and services without their authoritarian calculus. It is a bitter pill for them to see such inefficient mingling of money and products/services which could be put to much better gain if only they would turn the levers of control over to those who know better. The elites! of course.

We have already an example of how the elites will solve socio-economic issues. Of course, I’m talking about Obamacare(ACA). What a beautiful, wonderful, cost-effective, and efficient program(he said, with a massive eye-roll). Just imagine ACA expanded out to basically ALL parts of our society. I can’t wait to see how well the elites run the internet. (snort)

  3. Worth noting that it’s not the Socialism itself that is the problem: All of Europe trucks along relatively well under some degree of Socialism. It’s the interference and stateism that cause the damage.

A certain degree of Socialism is, I believe, actually good for the economy: People who aren’t afraid of being left to die on the street if they lose their health coverage will find it easier to start new businesses, for example. That comfort has to be provided in an economically-efficient way, of course, and this is where the American nouveau-Socialists need to work on their sales-pitch. Even in Europe people wouldn’t buy into that (not even in France, not right now anyway).

about the Svengali who is handling the brainless airhead bimbo actress AOC – she literally can’t think or speak unless she has a script handed to her:

Chakrabarti was born and raised in a Bengali family in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Harvard University, graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science.

Chakrabarti has homes in the West Village neighborhood of Lower Manhattan and in Maryland.

    Very wealthy family.

  5. @elmer–It’s funny you write “bimbo.” The other day, I was thinking of tweeting: “Where have all the bimbos gone? There was a day when they were everywhere. We even had eruptions of them. But now the word is seldom heard.”
