Did Donna Brazile Find a Horse’s Head in Her Bed This Morning?
Who you gonna believe, Donna Brazile or your lyin’ eyes? I read the Politico piece carefully, and I damn sure reached the conclusion that Brazile had confessed to Bernie Sanders that the DNC had rigged the process. But Donna says No! I said nothing of the sort. Indeed, she has started a hash tag, #NeverSaidHillaryRiggedElection.
So I read the article again, and I still conclude that’s exactly what she said.
Several people commented last night that Brazile’s jeremiad had put her in mortal danger. Today’s furious attempt to deny what was clearly said the day before surely does suggest that Donna awoke this morning to find a horse’s head in her bed, and that got her mind right.
if Donna Brazille passes away in the next few months I will begin to believe the Clinton Conspiracy (Vince Foster etc)

If she hadn’t realised that her life would be at risk she must be profoundly stupid.

@jeff-As someone responded to me on Twitter, I would avoid Ft. Marcy Park if I were she.
Unless, on second thoughts, she realised that she would be in more danger of she knew stuff that the public didn’t, so that she’d be safer having published it.

5. Ah well, it always was dangerous being a member of the Court Party in politics.

SWP, it looks to me like, notwithstanding the self-serving statements and the use of the slavery theme from Donna that “her” loss was not Donna’s fault, Donna was and is well aware of Arkancide:
Brazile writes that she was haunted by the still-unsolved murder of DNC data staffer Seth Rich and feared for her own life, shutting the blinds to her office window so snipers could not see her and installing surveillance cameras at her home.

I agree with dearieme – Donna wrote this book as an attempt to avoid Arkancide.
The Klinton Krime family will stoop to anything, as we have seen.
Always very, very calculated.

Unless Politico took editorial license, Ms. Brazile stated that Hillary rigged the election. Case closed. Maybe it’s the horse head treatment, but she could also be Fredo. Stay away from row boats.

Methinks she professes fear too much.
What if rather than being surprised/shocked/frightened by the Seth Rich murder, she is in some way involved?
The excerpts appear very self-serving, so how does bringing up the Rich case serve her interests? Any one of us would have advised her to avoid the topic. Comments here support that.
Unless her declarations of shock would be useful later, when more information emerges.

Why are there people such cowards? Don’t they have enough money in the bank?

We’re overlooking one of the constants in the world of US politics WRT Brazile. Money. She wrote a tell-all and in there she added some self-serving mea culpas before tossing basically everyone who isn’t her under various buses. What better way to advertise her book than to stir up controversy? Not that anyone of us wouldn’t do the same(frankly, I would sell out some of the people I work with for a small box of thin-mints). As for the Seth Rich investigation, I would opine that those assclowns couldn’t find water if they fell out of a boat. They still think the data-dump was the work of some Russian cabal: “One of the central theories about Seth Rich’s killing — which remains unsolved — is that it was carried out on behalf of Hillary Clinton, on the basis that Rich had leaked the DNC’s emails to Wikileaks. Many conspiracy theorists believe that Clinton and former president Bill Clinton are responsible for a string of murders going back to the beginning of their political careers.
Intelligence analysts agree almost unanimously, however, that Russia hacked the DNC’s servers and provided the emails to Wikileaks, perhaps through an intermediary.

“Intelligence analysts agree almost unanimously, however, that Russia hacked the DNC’s servers”: on what evidence? I understand that any competent hacker can cover his traces pretty easily. If that weren’t true I suppose they’d all be caught and the problem wouldn’t exist.
I also understand that there’s some technical point about the speed of data transmission that makes it much likelier to be a leak than a hack.

@dearieme–If the intelligence community told us how they knew, they’d have to kill us.
On a matter of such importance, more disclosure is imperative. The lack of disclosure suggests the can’t prove it. The failure of the DNC to provide the servers also makes me extremely dubious of any forensic claims.
Further, attribution of hacks is virtually impossible, especially if the hacker has an idea of how attributions are done.
Lastly, even if the Russians hacked this does not necessarily mean that they provided the data to Wikileaks. It could have been an inside job. These things are not mutually exclusive.
My guess is when the Russians turned up to gain entry to Hillary’s bathroom server, Podesta’s email account, and (probably) the DNC servers they found a scrum of people already there helping themselves and had to wait their turn. That’s undoubtedly true for the bathroom server.
